WaKIDS
The Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WaKIDS) is a requirement by Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for students in kindergarten full-time. A FFP teacher will reach out to you to schedule times to complete this process. Learn more at the link below: 
World Language
Kindergarteners are required to explore another language besides English. This could be by learning ASL, exploring a language spoken at home, watching a bilingual show or movie, etc.
Social Emotional Learning

Ferndale Family Partnership -Monthly Progress Report
This form documents FFP student progress to determine satisfactory or unsatisfactory monthly progress IAW WAC 392-121-182, WAC 392-550-025, and Ferndale School District policies and procedures.
Determination of "Satisfactory Progress" for all students full or part-time is based on the professional judgement of an FFP certificated staff member based on progress toward at least one learning goal, or for K-8 50% or more satisfactory categories, related to the performance objectives defined in the written student learning plan. Evidence can be Skyward analysis, demonstration or samples, planner, or courseware progress reports.
